As you waken to the world
By the light of the morning sun
Cool winds waft through the air
Delightful scenes unfold before you
Everything seems calm
For it is not yet started.

Good times in the morning
Haven’t always stayed on through the day.
It is another “Day” today
Just another fucking day!

Keep on keeping on
Laugh out loud at that homily.
Maybe they’ll never know the chaos
Never know the thoughts that race
Over the noise of the daily duties
Perhaps they’ll notice something
Quite odd about the words you say out loud.

Really, there’s not much they can do.

When its time to do as you’re told
Xerox the certificates you earned
You’ll never know if they truly care.
Zoom in, shut out the noise, be normal.
