And that’s what it should be, the greeting. Not ‘Happy Holidays’, but ‘Merry Christmas’ for the reason for the holiday is Christmas.
Lest I begin to sound like the PeevedPunjabi, let me hasten to wish all a very Merry Christmas. I hope you are able to enjoy a warm and cozy Christmas with your loved ones, family and friends around. Remember, the Christmas spirit can go too far, in which case call a taxi or stay over or make suitable arrangements.

Ice is not fun. Snow is annoying, ice is just very painful and dangerous too. Sometimes it would be nice to spread the wealth around and even things out a bit, eh?
